A Walk on the Wild Side
Time & Location
About the Event
Krishna Prem wants to take a walk with You. His walk on the Wild Side began in 1973 when he bumped into Osho. And now KP wants to walk with You. In the introduction to his new book Aloneness A Love Story, KP writes... I left Boston fifty years ago and walked all the way to Bombay. I cannot walk on water, but I paced up and down the aisles of many a Boeing 747. I was 27 years old and my life was falling apart. Astrology friends called this my Saturn Return. I called it my nervous breakdown. I ended up at the feet of my friend Osho. Osho asked me “What kind of meditation do you prefer?” I didn’t really know what ‘meditation’ meant, so I just said, “I love to walk.” Osho laughed and said, “Walking is a great meditation. Your arms are moving one way, your legs are moving the other way, and if you are alert you will end up in your hara, which is the home of meditation.” With this in mind, I invite you to take a walk with me. Reading my book, you’ll find yourself moving one way, then the other way, then all over the place. With luck, you’ll find yourself becoming centered.
Oh, by the way, if you find a few roses among the stories, don’t forget to stop and smell their fragrance. Osho always reminded us that the journey is the goal. PS... For all you that join KP for a stroll... he wants to send you the first chapter of his new book on Aloneness free of charge... because after a brisk walk, you may well want to get comfy on your couch, relax and become enlightened... maybe!
